For schools is there anything to learn from the teaching and learning methods of other countries? Is a departmental based structure the right one for the children in my school? Have I really challenged the assumptions on which some of my working practices are based? Any school can benefit from a dose of creative thinking that is rooted in a sound understanding of how we learn. We can offer this through workshops and stimulating presentations as well as through benchmarking current practice.
For those working with schools We prefer not to act as the external expert sitting on the edge of the team, but to infuse team members with a practical understanding of the changing day-to-day life of a school. To do this, we devise practical activities, visits and other events which also have the effect of bonding the team through shared learning. At the same time, we can advise at a strategic level on the opportunities afforded by the changes in curriculum, vocational education, methods of learning and working practices. |
